Hi all! Our little girl has been sleeping in a bassinet next to our bed since we brought her home. However we think it's time to move her to her own room where she'll sleep in her crib. I'm looking for tips to help with this transition. Should I bring the crib into our room for her to sleep in a few nights first? Or put the bassinet in her nursery? Anyone go through this with their own LOs and can recommend (or discourage) strategies to help make this easier? TIA!

EDIT: Thanks for all the advice! We decided to go cold turkey last night and have her sleep in her room, in her crib. She did fine! Maybe slept a bit better than she usually did sleeping in our room. It was definitely a lot harder for me than for her!
