How soon is too soon?

Hey everyone!   I was just wondering how soon after ovulation do you start testing for BFP?

I started yesterday (11 dpo) and got a negative. AF was expected Tuesday but ovulated late. Probably just depends on your body.

I got my faint positive at 7dpo. It was light, but definitely had color. For most people I would say 10-12dpo to give time for implantation and hormones to build up.
