Gassy baby?

Question

Anyone else breastfeeding and their baby is always passing gas? Especially when he poops. Is that normal? Is it something I’m eating? I stopped drinking soda because I thought it was that and only drink water and upspring milk flow  berry flavored 2 times a day. Thanks!

My daughter is very gassy as well for being ebf, she is currently farting/pooping on me as I type this 😂😂
I think a contributing factor to that is, I have an oversupply of breastmilk right now so spits up after most feedings. She also has trouble controlling the milk during my initial letdown so she takes in a lot of air.

I think babies are just gassy. If it didn't bother him it's probably fine. My daughter is super gassy too.

This is very normal. Breastmilk is a diuretic and goes right through them. Which is a good thing!

Are you eating spicy foods? With my first child I could not wait to get back to eating spicy foods after I gave birth. I had a very spicy meal one day and distinctly remember that she was irritable and gassy from the feedings she. I stopped with the spicy foods until I stopped breastfeeding and I she never experienced that discomfort again.
