I can't take the flu shot cause it's raised in raw egg but I haven't gotten the flu and both my mum and sister got badly hit

The flu shot is only 10% effective this year. Meaning only 10% of the entire population that got the shot had it work effectively. 
I don't get flu shots and I don't let my son get it either. But when I went for his annual school required shots, the nurse told me about the low effectiveness rate this year.

I got the flu shot. I got sick recently but I think it was just a cold. I had a sore throat for one day and then just had coughing and a runny/stuffed nose and couldn't stop sneezing. No fatigue or fever or any other symptoms. I'm not sure if I got the flu and the shot helped it not be so bad or if it was just a cold but it wasn't bad. I was still able to get up and do things. It was mainly annoying.

I got the flu the week before I was going to get the flu shot. It was such a bad flu that my husband had to take the day off to take care of our son.

I got the flu shot and haven't gotten the flu..but it's only January so anything can happen.  My grandparents got the shot and both ended up with the flu.  I just keep washing my hands and taking vitamins daily.
