A funny story

So my LO has been in the NICU for almost two weeks now and I go everyday to sit with him and talk to him ect. Most days I’m by myself but sometimes a friend or family member will come to be with me for a little. Today the doctor was doing rounds and my boyfriends sister was sitting with me before she had to go to work. The doctors explained what changes they’ll be making on my little guy within the next day or two and answered my questions. After she was done she looks over at my boyfriends sister and says “so are you grandma?” And I’m just sitting there like

And my boyfriends sister looks at her and says “I’m offended..”

So after trying to brush it off and make some chit chat about the nurses in the NICU the doctor leaves and I just look over at my boyfriends sister and loose it

It’s always nice to have a little humor in such a stressful place
