Period lasting longer than 7 days?!

I started my period on the 1st of January and I was due to finish last Saturday, I am now still on my period (it’s been 11 almost 12 days) and I’m getting a bit scared now. I only started my period in may do I don’t know if it’s anything to do with that? Why is it not stopping? Can you girls help me out?

That happened to me once, I still remember it was the third time that I got my period it lasted 2 weeks the first week was normal since that’s how long my period usually lasts but the second week was just spotting or it was very light bleeding this is common and rarely means anything serious

Your Periods are still relatively new and probably have settled into a routine yet had a similar thing but the other round- started really long but then were quite a lot shorter. Periods vary in length and can often be super long, even three weeks or more occasionally
