Anterior Placenta anyone?

Found out I have an anterior placenta. Anyone else have experience with this? I think it might be pretty common?

Dr said I might have one. it was too early to confirm and I haven't had an ultrasound since but I only feel the baby move in one very small isolated location so I'm guessing I do and that spot is the only part where the placenta isn't in front.

I have an anterior placenta too! Baby is doing great @ 16.4 weeks and my Dr says there's no need to worry about a thing when it comes to the placement of the anterior placenta. I can't wait to feel the baby, I haven't yet, or I'm not sure the one time if it was gas or not that I felt.  Luckily baby's heartbeat has been found right away at my prenatals, but it is true they can be harder to find due to the extra padding between baby💕

I have it! I found out at 15 weeks and 5 days. Im 17 weeks and 3 days today. It makes it hard to hear the heartbeat and also feel the baby movements. I still havent felt any movements yet 😭

I do!  19 weeks 3 days and still no definitive movements from the little one.  Baby is good though, so hopefully I'll be feeling some soon.  I did ask the dr today if there was anything to be concerned about with the placenta and she assured me it was totally fine and I wouldn't need to take any extra precautions.

I haven’t had my anatomy scan with this pregnancy yet, but I had an anterior placenta with my daughter.  The only thing it effected was how soon I felt her.  I couldn’t until I was over 25 weeks, but she was also considered “growth restricted” so that could have also been because she was smaller than normal.

I'm 19 weeks pregnant with my second and have an anterior placenta with him. I never even asked my Dr about my placenta when I was pregnant with my daughter but I felt her move around 18 weeks. I still haven't my baby boy move yet and it's driving me crazy!

I just found out I have an anterior placenta as well. I haven’t felt any kicks really (17 weeks) but i can definitely tell he’s moving around in there.

I found out today I have anterior placenta. During the scan baba was moving a huge amount but I couldn’t feel a thing. Doctor said that its harder to feel when your anterior. Nothing to worry about! 17 weeks today

I have an anterior placenta. The only thing I was told is that it may take a few more weeks before you feel the baby’s movements but I’m 19 wks with twins and they are definitely having a ball!

I had an anterior placenta last pregnancy, and this one too. My ultrasound tech said that typically, if you get pregnant again within two years of the birth, your placenta goes right back to the same place. I began feeling flutters around 19 weeks, (and when I say that I could barely feel a thing, I had to be laying down, focused) and am now at 20 weeks, I’m starting to feel little kicks. I felt more hits to the cervix than anything at first and they made me jump lol. But it’s been a few days, and I can feel little jabs here and there to my belly. Can’t feel anything from the outside yet though. As for other things, it was harder to find the heartbeat this time around, ultrasound pictures don’t generally come out super great because of the placenta in the way, and yeah, feeling movements a little later than I thought I would. Nothing else really 🤷🏽‍♀️
