getting the birth control implant!!!

I'm 16 and i have terrible cramps when i'm on my period so my mom is taking me to get the implant. I'm super nervous because i'm terrible with needles. Does anyone have any tips or things i should be prepared for? Or maybe what i should do during it to distract me?
