Hi everyone

So I’ve been using the Paragard for the past few years and, though I liked the convenience of it, my periods got so heavy and painful I have to change.

So I started the pill a few days ago and I’m having my IUD removed after I’ve been on it a week.

Now my question is what can I typically expect for the next few months? The doctor said that it’ll take 3 months for my body to adjust to the hormones and things will regulate on their own (she said this particular one will help my moods, here’s hoping because my poor husband has been dealing with me being super mean without getting mad).

My periods were really heavy and my cramps made me wish I was in labor again. How long has it taken for y’all to even out, I guess.
