Does it bother you when your SO talks disrespectful about women

When my SO talks about girls and women he always does so in a condescending manner. He refers to them as Bitches and stupid and things like that . He acts like he knows everything about women when In reality he’s the stupid one that doesn’t know what he’s talking about .This bothers me because to me it feels like he cannot respect women . Idk maybe I’m just overthinking this but it really bothers me . I’m also not sure how to bring it up without sounding like I’m rude or trying to come for him.

I wouldn’t be with a man who disrespects women. It’s that simple. He’s showing what he thinks about women and that includes you. Why would you be with someone who disrespects you this way? All men are not like this.

Well I wouldn’t be with someone like that. And you shouldn’t fear bringing up an issue with your significant other. I see nothing wrong with sounding like you’re coming for him. I’d confront him and ask him why he’s such an asshole towards women.

There should be a “He doesn’t talk about woman” tab. My husband doesn’t talk bad about any woman. We could have a woman waitress at a restaurant or a woman customer service rep and if they mess up on anything- he’s like it happens. Never once is he like “fucking bitch, messing up”. It doesn’t matter how mad he is towards a woman- he’ll never call them by their name. Not sure how long you’ve been with your man, but we have been together for almost 4 years. This could be a warning sign. I would be upset too. Just being up your concern with him. Just like “ I don’t appreciate how you call woman birches etc” tell him how it makes you feel.

my grandpa, who lives with 3 woman (me my mom and my grandma) is always doing the same, bitch this bitch that too every woman he sees on TV, street or wtv, always calling them fat, ugly, always pointing out their imperfections, my grandma boils when he does it and tbh I kinda lost respect for him cuz of that. if your bf does that now imagine later..

I would definitely address it, especially if it bothers you. I know some people who are sometimes condescending towards women and I tend to get offended because I'm part of women so I just tell them they are full of shit and disrespectful, but in a gentle manner of course.
