are you cool with your SO hanging with ex

Just wondering some situations like this can be sketchy. But can we truly stop someone for doing what they're gonna do either way. My SO says I'm controlling cause I don't like solo hang out with exes. But I just be voicing my opinion like I'm not gonna stick around while you have your cake and eat it too. even if its nothing I feel like its risky. what do you think ?
