Just had stretch and sweep at 39weeks??

Question

Dilated to 3cm just had stretch and sweep, midwife offer induction but refused as I want a water birth. What can I do to encourage labour !!! Help

There's not much you can do.... Try walking. The sweep should work but they won't let you go past 41 weeks and they'll induce you. I'm so nervous about that myself. I don't want to be induced.

I don't have an answer for you BUT you are smart to try to avoid induction. I'm on day 4 at the hospital on induction meds galore because my amniotic fluid was low. After 80 hours of meds and monitoring I'm still only at 2cm and loosing my mind 😳
