depo, or pill?

any opinons on the depo shot and pills? trying to figure out which one to use. please and thank you!

the Depo shot is one shot every 3 months. I've  been told by my gyno that its not for young women. the pill is better imo because if you dont like how you feel while on it, you can stop taking it at any time.

I've been on depo for over two years. I asked my gyno about the two year warning, as well as my primary care physician, and both of them told me that it happens rarely. Everyone's body is different. Depo is the only thing that's worked for me, it actually helped my acne and I've never gained any weight from it. Go to your gyno and ask for her opinions and then find out what works best for you. What works best for one person, may not work the best for another.

I’ve been on both. Depo: made me spot the entire time I was on it (so I couldn’t have sex anyway or at least I never wanted to), no weight gain. Would never go back on it. Pill (Tri-Linyah): loved it, no side effects at all, always had the alarm on my phone set nightly sometimes I had it ready to go before it went off. The pack was small and white. I always decorated it with stickers to make it cute 😄 Currently not taking it due to relocation but I loved the pill. I’ve also been on the Patch. It was okay. It’s equivalent to the pill. I just didn’t like it sticking to me allllll the time. Sorta like a band-aid. No side effects. In the summer I had it on my butt cheeks (so ppl couldn’t see) and the cooler seasons I wore it on my abdomen shoulder or back.

Depo can deteriorate your bones if you take it to long. I went way over my limit and almost messed me up for good
