Is there a wait time to have another??

My doctor never really said anything and I haven’t been there since my 6 week check up (my son is 7 months now) but is there any recommended wait time between c sections?? Hoping to try again in August so it would be a little less than 2 years in between my c sections just wondering if that’s an appropriate wait time?

My OB said to wait at least 18-24mo after a csection before trying again. 💕💕

My midwife said to wait at least 15 month to get pregnant again, if I wanted a vbac. My SIL got pregnant again after a year and had another c-section without a problem, but I don’t think she could have done a vbac.

2 years between births is fine. I was told to wait a year before conceiving again

The longer you wait the more time your uterus has to recover, more chance of you being a VBAC candidate if that's what you wish 😊
