Can you get let go for making a mistake on the job?

Ok, so I work at a clothing store called Madewell. For the most part I really enjoy working there, & I’ve been there since the summer. However, I’m not full time, and I’m only there at most twice a week. Every time I go in there things are moved around, so I have to ask questions just to make sure I’m doing things right.

The hardest thing for me is the register, regular transactions are easy, but I’m not comfortable with ordering items online for customers through the register & I have to ask one of the managers to help me. Well this happened today & for the most part Everyone is really nice, but there are 2 managers that are just rude & expect you to know things by yourself. If you attempt to ask them anything, they huff and puff like it’s the end of the world.

I even expressed to the assistant manager that I would like to be on the register more so I can get comfortable, and I won’t have to ask so many questions. I feel like I’m trying my best, I show up on time, I do everything they ask, but I feel like instead of helping me with the register, they’re gonna either fire me or cut my hours all because I haven’t caught on as fast as other employees. Do you think this will happen & should I talk to someone at the job about it?
