Did you nurse (at anytime) while pregnant?

I am still nursing my second child, and am about 6 weeks with 3rd. I’ve had some VERY light spotting with this time (brown and tinges of pink). I was just curious if anyone else had this while simultaneously nursing. The nurse said my hormones may be “confused”, so I wanted some feedback! Thank you!!

My fat thumb hit no but I meant to hit yes. I was still nursing #1 until about 18 weeks pregnant. My OB said it was safe. I stopped because of the extremely sore breasts this pregnancy has brought me. Unless you have some other health concerns it shouldn’t cause an issue, not sure if your spotting is related to nursing.

This time around I was nursing. This is baby #4. I'm noe 15wks 5days. My Dr told me to stop ASAP when I went for my first appt around 6wks. I thought tandem nursing was a big thing but I guess not. I've had a history of m/c. The Dr said when you nurse it causes your body to release patosen, which is why it's said to tighten you up after you have your baby sooner than if you don't nurse, because this causes your uterus to contract it can cause a m/c early on and later on it can cause preterm labor. Not trying to freak you out but this is the info I got. All my other babies have been done nursing when I've been pregnant with another one. Good luck. Keep posting.
