A little backstory-

I'm trying to find a name for my second son. Our first sons name is Leo Timothy Javier Ramirez. My boyfriend and I decided I would pick a family members name to add to the baby's name, and he'd decide the rest. So I decided on Timothy (after my grandfather, who has terminal illness) and my boyfriend wanted Leo Javier after his uncle. Now we are pregnant with another baby boy, and we are doing the opposite. My boyfriend picks a family member (he chose Xavier, his only brothers name) and I get to choose the rest. I'm in love with both the names Landon and Mason. But my brother I've always been closest to (Robbert) was hurt because neither of his nephews would be named after him. And it made me feel bad and I wanted to add in an R. My boyfriend hates this idea and is 100% against it. I really want to name the baby Landon but my bf is saying if I want that name, then no R. He's saying i can only add the R. If we name the baby Mason and I think this is unfair because he knows I've been leaning towards the name Landon.

It's also unfair because it's my turn to decide the rest of the baby's name and he's trying to take over.

Should i just say F**k it, and do what i want? And risk a fight? Or just give in and drop the R? I originally didn't want the R but I don't want conflict between my closest brother and I, and I don't want conflict between my boyfriend and i... HELP
