Canker sore! I used to get them literally every month. I figured out the SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) in a lot of toothpastes was irritating my gums and causing them to crop up all the time. I switched toothpastes to one without SLS and now rarely get them! The joy! Lol. If this is a chronic problem for you look into your toothpaste. If this isn’t a chronic problem, SLS is perfectly safe (It’s just a bit abrasive as a cleaning ingredient, and that can irritate sensitive gums) and you probably just nicked that part of your mouth and it turned into an ulcer. Warm salt water is very soothing, and if it’s particularly painful, some orajel can be a relief. It will be gone before you know it!

ugh!! it’s a canker sore. canker sores are hereditary. they’re practically blisters due to stress and or friction in the mouth. i get these frequently. i suggest doing a salt water mouth rinse 3 times a day, and applying RAW honey to the surface of it. the honey must be raw, so that it has kept its antibacterial purposes. if you apply honey 2 times a day along with the mouth rinses, it should be gone in a few days!

it looks like a sore.. sometimes i get them when i eat or drink to much sweet stuff. try rinsing your mouth with warm water for a bit. If it doesn't go away after that, you might wanna see a doctor. I wish you the best

There’s something called glyoxide that helps. You can get it at Walmart.

It’s an ulcer.. you get them when you have something constantly rubbing on your gums ( braces or retainer) or you don’t brush your teeth enough. 
Stress can also be a trigger 
Wash your mouth out with warm salt water or get some gel for it.
