My boyfriend is currently in NTC starting today I go my two weeks without talking to him at all. Then he comes home in February. He’s deploying in a couple months for only three of the months because his report date for his/our next stop is end of summer. I understand it all bc I myself am a veteran so I guess it helps. But I’ve never loved someone like him and having to be away from him is just difficult. He’s just different. I’m gonna marry this man.

Wondering if there are any military spouses out there that can tell me how they made it easier and passed the time. My job isn’t a very busy job so it doesn’t keep me occupied. I just drive myself crazy the whole time.. happy sad happy anxious ugh I make countdowns on my phone and on my calendars, but I know there are people who go longer away from there partners while deployed but any amount of time sucks.
