I had a miscarriage in March of last yr, so I was ecstatic that I saw a baby and the heart beat at my initial ultrasound which was at 8 weeks. I went to the doctor yesterday at 12 weeks and learned I won’t get to see the baby again until the 20 week appt. All they did was listen for a heartbeat. No sonogram.

I was measuring a week small at the initial appt and I just want to know if this baby is growing on track. How do doctors know if everything is truly okay going that long between ultrasounds? I am not okay with this. 😞
