how much is enough?

So because of some open blistering, it's too painful for me to breastfeed so I have been pumping. When I pump in the middle of the night, I get about 80ml. Most of the time my LO falls asleep while eating. How much should she  be eating during these 2am feeds?  She is 8 days old.

Shoot, not much at all. Her tummy is no bigger than a cherry. Sounds like you’re off to a great start! Blistering will soon heal and breastfeeding will get better! Great job, congratulations, and good luck. ♥️

When I started giving my lo a bottle I started with 1 oz at a time and burped every half ounce.  My chubbers is 3 weeks old and she varies a lot still.  Sometimes she will take 1.5 oz sometimes she will take 3 but averages about 2.  Good luck.  Stick with it if this is where your heart is.
