A few weeks ago I was diagnosed with bacterial vaginitis, was prescribed antibiotics for 7 days, and everything cleared up. My period, which was super delayed, started just a few days after starting the medication (not sure if it's related?), so things were looking up!

Yesterday and today though I've been having mad cramps and pain where my ovaries are, accompanied by some discharge. My fertile window is supposed to be in 3 days but could it be ovulation pain? Or do you think it could be rated to the infection?

I've never had many issues down there, nothing more than the odd yeast infection, so now I'm hyper aware of every little pain or change I notice and I feel a bit worried! I know you can give me a diagnosis, but had anyone here had similar experiences? Thanks!

*I also had a swollen purple spot, which turned into a bruise right near my clitoris (most likely not caused during sexual activity) which is what caused me to go to the doctors and get prescribed with bacterial vaginosis. worth noting also is that around my tailbone has been feeling inflamed as well. I feel like I'm falling apart and I'm getting a bit worried :'o
