I waited to go to urgent care until they opened at 8 am. I thought it was appendicitis until they did a CT scan and ultrasound to find 2 giant cysts on my ovaries. One 7 cm and one 9 cm. The cyst on my right ovary had twisted, cutting off blood flow to that side. They sent me into surgery to remove the cysts and they ended up having to remove the right ovary. Needless to say its been an intense 24 hours... Does anyone else only have one ovary? Will it change my likelihood of ever getting pregnant?
