ovulation question??

hi I'm 42 and my husband is 36 trying for our 2nd baby together. My husband and I had sex every other day in my ovulation cycle even the day before ovulation but the day of ovulation we didn't.. now I'm worried if we were suppose to and we missed the opportunity. I'm getting tired of trying and being disappointed :( fyi first time using glow to try.

Sperm can live up to 5 days so even though you didn't have sex on that day, it still can happen. You still can get pregnant. keeps fingers crossed and now the waiting game.

You should be fine. The month I conceived we baby danced every day but we did miss the 3rd day post ovulation and I got pregnant. I too heard every other day is best though.

I’m in the same exact position. What I’ve read is that it doesn’t matter if you do it every other day. Some people say do it every day, but either say that it gives the chance for the sperm to rejuvenate if you do it every other day. I’ve also taken two different ovulation test. One the saliva which is supposed to be more accurate and the other the LH surge strips. They both come up with two different surgesSo I don’t know which one is right. Sometimes it seems so complicated. Just be as positive as possible, visualize what you want and be healthy. And next month if you didn’t you see this month do the opposite every other day. I also am measuring my BBT. That may help you also to find out when exactly you’re ovulating.
