So I’m 17 and ever since I started my period at 11 my mum buys me pads. In the summer I lost my virginity and I’ve started wearing tampons since then but I buy them myself and hide them so my mum doesn’t know. It’s stressful and I want to tell my mum that I want to use tampons but I’m scared she’s going to know that I’m having sex and we’ve never talked about tampons before so it would be a bit awkward. What should I do

Edit: I know you can use tampons and be a virgin but I’m still worried she’ll connect the dots from other things and bc I’ve never once shown an interest in them before or complained about pads so idk I’m just paranoid
