I’m really struggling. Help? 😔

I really want to lose weight, over the past couple years my weight has constantly fluctuated medium to large due to me being depressed. I tend to either not eat anything all day, or binge eat on loads of bad crap. I tend to comfort eat a lot, as food is one of the few things that I now enjoy in life. I’ve tried calorie restricting, low carb, low fat etc. And it’s not that none of it’s working, I just don’t have the motivation.

I tend to really fail when I go to my SOs, as he literally has junk food every single day.

His family never buy any fruit or veg, so many heavy carb foods and sugary snacks.

One example is yesterday. I ate a full terry’s chocolate orange, weetabix, chocolates and 4 biscuits.

I’ve tried going on the internet, and I don’t know what to believe with diets.

Are there any tips and tricks you guys have that have worked for you? I know what might work for one person may not work for someone else, but I really want to find a lifestyle to be able to stick to. Including like exercise and diet. We recently bought a treadmill so I’ve been going on that for about 1-2 hours a day, not recently as I’ve been over my SOs for a week, so that’s another issue as we never get out.
