Ectopic or chemical pregnancy

I recently took a few pregnancy tests and they all came back positive. My period is about almost 2 weeks late. Just today I started to feel slight cramping and when I wiped there was a little bit of pink. Now it is bright red and I’m wearing a pad. The spot is the size of a quarter and I’m having very mild discomfort. I want to think I’m miscarrying or having a chemical pregnancy but my mom keeps telling me to wait it out since it’s not a lot of blood. But I’m worried it’s gonna get worse or it could be a ectopic pregnancy. If anyone has had one can you tell me what signs to look for ?
