yes the placenta was attached to your uterus and leaves a wound when it detaches. it needs time to heal and your cervix is wide open which would allow bacteria up into your uterus

You should wait until you get cleared by your doctor. If you don’t, and you have sex too early it can lead to infections. Some people do it before 6 weeks without any problems but I honestly wouldn’t risk it.

I wouldn’t risk it. If they say not to I would rather be safe then sorry. Also it would suck going to your check up appt either having an infection or worse being pregnant again. Happened to a friend
