Taking child with to obgyn?

Hello! So I’m curious to how many ladies take your children with you to your obgyn appts? I’m trying to figure out if I should pay $40 for a sitter or just take my 4 year old with me🤔

If your child is old enough to sit quietly with your phone and tablet and not interrupt, then I would bring them. I totally get not want to or being  able to spend the extra money on a sitter. If you do bring them, be really clear about what is going to happen so they aren't freaked out. And have them sit near your head so they don't look up and get a clear view of their first home, lol.

I took my soon with me for the longest time. But he was always well behaved. I see lots of mothers doing it.

I take my 18-month old with me a lot. the ladies there love her!

I take my daughter because most of the time it’s an external visit anyway and I don’t have a sitter.
