21 female. I've had to use baby oil to put in tampons for years, its painful for me without the oil. Ive never given it much thought until recently I realized I have no idea if thats okay, what if its actually really bad for my vagina? Please let me know, and if its not are there any alternatives? I tried just water before it didnt really work for me. Also if anyone has any advice on why I need it in the first place, my friends have joked that its because I'm a virgin, which is true, as to why its uncomfortable for me. I can only use the smallest tampons they make. Any information is helpful :)
