Is it okay to name your baby after a TV show character?

I am thinking of the name Spencer for a girl after the character from Pretty Little Liars, because I love the name, I wanted something boyish, and the character is smart and confident and that's what I hope my daughter will be like. Thoughts?

I got my daughter's name Brooke from one tree hill. And of I had another girl I was going to make her Hannah from PLL.

My first is Abigail Rose and during that time the name wasn’t popular at all! It became hugely popular after but I heard the name on ER. The one episode when Abby was still a nurse and her bipolar mother came into the hospital screaming ABIGAIL looking for her lol. I just heard the name and it stuck. So yes it’s ok.
