Canopy over crib?

Really wanting to get a canopy netting thing to put over the crib, but my husband thinks it’s a stupid idea, because it would only be a matter of time before it’d need to be moved since the baby could get ahold of it.
So for those of you that got one and used it over your crib, did you move it eventually or how did you keep baby from pulling on it?

I say get it and pin it to the wall....away from the side rails....kinda like this 👇🏼 or even farther away would work.

I say skip it until little one is old enough to not need bed railings anymore. SIDS isn’t worth it.

It’s really pretty but I wouldn’t risk it. Lots of babies have been strangled by curtains and blinds, this looks even more risky. Plus there’s SIDS.

Another option is a wall decal. Much safer and still really cute!!

I used to see them all the time. Where I lived most people don’t have a/c so it was used as a mosquito barrier not as embellished as they are now. In my opinion, if you dont have a practical use for it then pin it to the wall and it wont bother anyone
