anyone have PCOS?

I was diagnosed with PCOS about 3 weeks ago and just started taking metformin last Sunday. well today I am supposed to up my dosage from 500 mg to 1000 mg and with PCOS your ovulation is off or you don't ovulate. according to my last period and the app I was supposed to be ovulating last week while I was on the metformin. is it possible that i actually ovulated this time I didn't do an opk at all tho. Is it possible for me to ovulate late now since being on the metformin? any idea?
