Vaginal temp?

Does anyone temp vaginally? 
I am wondering how this works when on AF?

I do, and I skip temping while on AF.
I figure you temp to see when your temp shifts (to confirm ovulation), and for me ovulation is usually mid cycle (like CD14 ish) so temps during AF don’t matter... even if my first day temping is CD5, I still get a nice baseline of low temps before the ovulation shift.
