Why are there so many unmarried people trying to conceive a baby?

Because when two people love each other sometimes they want to have a baby?
Why is it any of your business?

Because a piece of paper doesn’t define their love for each other. The idea that a couple should be married before having children is outdated, especially with the divorce rates the way that they are.

That's like asking why so many irresponsible women are getting pregnant when unplanned?? why is it our business? Be supportive not judgemental!

Because we can. And a piece of paper doesn’t define our love. Is it hurting you? No. Then why does it matter?

I would like to conceive my child before marriage because my twin and my mother may not live long and so that is a priority to me vs. planning a wedding/getting married. I have the commitment I want right now, it doesn't have to be recognized by the government. marriage is very important to me but I feel family is defined by love. People have so many reasons for having the family structures they do, it's none of my business as long as children are not being hurt.

For my family, it's because we're poly and marriage is...tricky with poly.
Also, I'm a divorcée, so I'm still a bit gun shy.
For some, they can't get married yet where they live (gay/lesbian)
For others, they don't want to. It's a legal procedure that's become overly religious.
Or they just don't want to. Maybe it's a yet, maybe it's an ever.
-shrugs-   As long as it's not harming anyone or affecting your quality of life, why does it matter?
