menstrual cup?

Alright ladies, I'm so sick of buying pads and tampons every month. Trying to find the right ones for my little flower that won't give me thrush... What are the pros and cons to a menstrual cup!?

One thing that can be perceived as a con is that the cup requires some care and maintenance. You need to boil it between cycles to ensure that you’re sterilizing it. As someone with thrush this is especially important. 
But other than that it’s all pro to me. Once you get the hang of it, simple to use, can’t feel it, no gross string hanging out, comfy for sleep and exercise. And I feel it’s empowering to really know how much I’m bleeding every month

Pros: Much more comfortable, no spending money (or worrying if you'll have enough to buy pads/tampons), less worry about leakage, no waste to be put in a bin, Not carrying around about 20 pads/tampons  (takes up less space in the bag) there's even pouches for it, easy to use once you get the hang of it (e.g. low down, grab the stem etc).     Cons: Wearing false nails while using the cup is very uncomfortable, Sometimes the loo needs an extra flush because of the blood at the bottom, can be a little messy (but because of the pros outweighing the cons I'm ok with it😂)                                                     However, I've my cup since August 2016 and I swear by it, best thing I've ever bought. Highly recommend if you're ok with the blood.
