I'm 27 years old, married for six months, we both work in the operating room, bought a house two months ago, and I am currently 5 weeks pregnant. my husband and I are very excited and nervous to have our first child. I plan to tell me parents in a week when I will be 6 weeks and have my first sonogram in hand. I can't help but think that my parents won't be excited for us and will be disappointed... I'm nervous to tell them, like I'm 16 about to tell them I'm pregnant.

Did anyone feel like this but got an amazing reaction from their parents? I need some hope and courage.
