Anyone have any recommendations on how to spice up a box cake mix for a party?

There’s a bunch of things online like adding an extra egg or using melted butter in place of the water. I’ll sometimes swirl pudding in the batter when it’s in the pan. I also like putting jam in the middle instead of frosting, or adding fresh fruit.

I freeze candy bars, then run them through my foid processor and mix some into the batter and sprinkle the rest on top of the frosting.

I always add a little almond extract to mine, and it makes it a million times better. It seems simple, but it s just a little something extra.
