i’m a virgin, but i want an IUD

i’m 16, and i haven’t had sex yet. I don’t know if i’ll start anytime soon but if i do i want to be protected by more than just a condom.

i also have a heavy period and occasionally feel dizzy because i’m losing too much blood. i have so many period horror stories it’s ridiculous. i heard an IUD can really help reduce symptoms of ur period and lighten ur flow which i’m soooo here for. i’d go on the pill but i fear it will really mess with my hormones.

Problem is i’m not an adult and i need parental consent, right? my parents are kinda strict so how do i convince them? any advice is appreciated, thx babes 💕
