Hey Alie! I have mine Thursday too. My mfm doc said that based on the 20 week scan (and 16 week early anatomy scan) he didn’t expect the echo to have anything out of the norm since they were able to see the chambers, blood flow, etc during the anatomy scan. Have you seen cases where people have favorable anatomy scans and bad news at echo? 😟

Not an IVF mom but I had an echo on Monday. It was looooong. We did not get good news and have another one tomorrow. Hope yours goes well!

I’m not IVF, but I had the Fetal echo last Monday because of the medications I’m on. The doctor was really quiet the whole time, but it was just because he was concentrating. It was really cool seeing all the different chambers, valves, and other things in the heart! It took about an hour. I made the mistake of drinking juice before and baby wouldn’t stop moving, making it harder for him to do his job. I would say skip the sugary stuff before to make it easier for the doctor!
