xray safe?

So im 9 weeks pregnant for the past 3 days i been having bad pain in the left side of the jaw when i open or try to put my teeth together .
I have a dentist appointment tomorrow but since i am pregnant i know for sure they are gonna do a xray and stuff , is it safe? Or am i even aloud to get the tooth removed  ? 
This is my first baby and i dont want to mess anything up, im so nervous 😭

They typically won’t X-ray a pregnant woman unless absolutely necessary

They will put a protective cover over you....but they definitely need to know you are pregnant, as they may choose to postpone, I would call them ASAP to figure that out
