So we let my cousin stay here for a while. we kicked her out a few weeks ago. Well in the like 2 weeks since we made her leave our landlord has done like 5 inspections and just keeps coming back. Weve busted our ass to get our house super fucking clean and they keep bitching saying we arent keeping the house clean. And we've cleaned and cleaned and cleaned. Just a couple minutes ago our landlord called us bitching at us that our house isnt clean and that when they did the last inspection they got told it was filthy dirty and that the house was nasty and the carpet is all stained and nasty and none of that is true. We have been busting out asses to get this house as spotless as possible but we live here so it looks lived in and that we have 2 fucking kids. So now she gave us 1 week and is dping ANOTHER full inspection next Tuesday and will be pretty much searching our house for a reason to evict us. We both lost our jobs recently and have no income and because we live in income based housing that doesnt really matter. But I asked the landlord if we would get evicted because of the no income and she said "you wont get evicted because of the no income but not keeping up on cleaning you will" so she pretty much is telling us we will be getting evicted next week. like our house isn't spotlessly clean but its not filthy. it looks lived in but clean. I just don't know what to do. both my husband and I were working but he got laid off, he didnt know his job did that until they laid him off, and I got fired, I was and still am having a lot of medical problems and have been in and out of the Dr and the hospital and then my 2 kids got sick as well. so neither of us are currently working and we have like $15 to our name till who knows when. and we have yet to get a W2 so who knows when we can start filing out taxes. my husband has been applying everywhere and calling back and has gone to multiple interviews. but because its after the holidays in a small town he isnt able to get hired anywhers.
