If you had gestational diabetes, did you deliver early?

I delivered early vaginally at exactly 36 weeks. He was 6 lbs 5 oz and didn’t need any time in the NICU

I'm curious if the people that answered yes if you delivered vaginally or csection? I have GD and my baby is so big they are talking csection

I did it didn't have anything to do with the diabetes though.

I delivered early but not because of GD and I had both of mine vaginally. With my first they were concerned he was going to be too big- telling me he was going to weigh 10lbs- and he was only 7lbs 14oz. My second weighed just over 8lbs.

Forgot to mention had him 8 days early

C section as baby was big due to GD (also had previous section and fundal height was measuring 4weeks ahead)
