My father passed away 10 years ago. My family and I have agreed we don't think his name is the nicest (kenneth) for a baby. my sister is the only one with a child and she had a girl so didn't use my dad's name. if we were to use it it would definitely be a middle name but husband and I just don't love it. if we have a girl we would be using hubbys grandmother's name as middle so I was thinking if it's a boy we could use my grandfather's name as middle. My grandfather is still alive and very important to me but... My husband thinks it's questionable to honor my grandfather (maternal) and not my own father. what do you think?
