dry nipples?

No question is a stupid question, right? this is my first pregnancy and I've noticed my nipples are extremely dry. Does anyone know the reason for this? I use 100% Raw Shea Butter as my lotion and it seems to be helping but by the end of the day before/after my shower they are SO DRY again! I've been guzzling water like crazy so I know that isn't the problem. Can anyone help with this?

try nipple cream for breastfeeding, it works wonders for chapped dry nipples

Me too! I've been using both aquaphor and Aveeno in turn to try to moisturize. It seems like it is worse depending on which bra I wear, so maybe check that out, too?
