I think its based on the assumption that men can make distinguishment between love and sex more easily (if a man has sex he doesnt need to have feelings that person) than a woman (if a woman has sex she also has feelings for the person). Anyhow, total nonsense. Cheating is cheating and no excuses for that, no matter your gender.
