In a couple of months i will be returning back to work, I️ decided to go part-time to fit both my husbands and i schedule. unfortunately i don’t have any family to rely on to babysit for me since they live in another state. Now my husband family lives near by but we don’t have any contact with any of them. I’ve been having problems with finding a babysitter that doesn’t charge too much. The ones i have found want over $12 an hour and the min. Wage here is 7.50. My work schedule will be only Saturday and Sundays 10 hours daily at a pay rate of 16.00 for 20 hours and I️ can pick up an extra 9 hours if they are busy and need help. My issue is that these girls are all young and don’t really have experience with kids they all say they babysat there cousins or siblings and they are 18 years of age wanting $12-15 an hour I️ think it’s a bit outrageous. My question to y’all is how much would you pay for someone to come and babysit at your home for at least 11 hours for two days with food ALREADY prepared for my son who is 19months and he is still in diapers and in the process of potty training?
