HYPOTHETICAL SITUATION TIME!
OK. You are, let's say 19 years old. You have a dating app. You've matched with someone! Isn't that great? You text, asking all the basic questions, age, height, favorite color, ect. They are 18. You hit it off! You agree to go on a date! You meet up, they look just like their profile. Everything is going splendid, you ask to see their ID after showing them you're own. Things go great and you end up back at your place with them. The night goes on and everything ends wonderfully. Later on you are presented with charges, the "18" year old you had such a wonderful time with? Is actually 14, and hasn't even started highschool yet. Their ID was fake.

So who is to blame?
----
Is it your fault for having sexual relations with a minor despite having been lied to about said minors age?
----
OR
----
Is it the minors fault for lying in the first place?
----------------------
Who should be punished?
Please keep in mind that for the sake of this hypothetical situation all sexual acts are CONSENSUAL
MEANING that in the time it was happening both parties agreed to it.
I am not insinuateing true consent on the minors part, they are a minor and are not able to give true consent.
At the time "consent" was given you were under the impression said minor was 18 years old.
