Help with PCOS naturally.

Hi ladies, so I’ve had PCOS for 2years now ( within my knowledge ) and I’m suffering with my periods not stopping by themselves. Also my testosterone being very high and no ovulation. I’ve been TTC for 3 years for my first child.

I’ve done every test possible to see what the issue is but I’m always given the option that the PILL is the only thing that will stop my periods.

Other than that my Fallopian tubes aren’t blocked and my cervix is normal along with everything else.

I’m currently loosing weight so the gyne will give me clomid, ( to help me ovulate) but I do not want to be back on the pill.

Considering no doctor or GP has helped me to understand why my periods don’t stop by themselves I’ve decided to do lots of research myself. I’d like to share it all with you as I know they’re so many women out there who feel lost and confused with PCOS and how to manage it.

Firstly, diet.

LESS SUGAR ✖️ LESS THAN 5g!

PROCESSED GRAINS/CARBS✖️

EMOTIONAL STRESS✖️

LESS DAIRY PRODUCTS✖️

WHITE FLOUR ITEMS✖️

REDUCE ADDED SUGARS ✔️

Majority of these things make insulin levels high and make women with pcos gain weight specially in the lower abdominal area.

INCREASE VEG INTAKE! ✔️

WHAT TO EAT✔️

* LOW GI Foods.✔️

* Apple, berries, strawberries. Etc✔️

Healthy fats.✔️

* Green leafy veg.✔️

* Cashew milk✔️

Desired Plate Portion

Half plate veg.

1/4 protein

1/4 carb.

Secondly, supplements.

Invest in some Women’s multivitamin tablets ✔️

Iron tablets✔️ ( if you suffer with super long periods, this will prevent you from becoming anaemic)

Inositol - do some research into this.

Vitex Capsules - also known as Chasteberry. Or you can buy the tea. It helps balance out hormones and also regulate periods.✔️

Black seed oil. - helps promote strong healthy immune system ( also known as Nigella Sativa )✔️

Flax oil. Or Omega 3 ( Choose one ) ✔️

Hemp seeds, chia seeds? Helps GLA ✔️

Omega 9 - Avocado✔️

FISH OIL/cod liver oil supplement.✔️

Consider vitex. ✔️

Sage? Sage tea? Or oil? (Rub near ears or lower abdominal) ✔️

Drink bone broth? ✔️

Maca root - balance of hormones, boosts fertility & helps with acne ✔️

Also, try adding in homemade juices into your daily diet.

For example:

1/2 avocado

1/2 cucumber

1/2 cup blueberries

1 cup Kale

Water.

Then add in some seeds or take with a supplement. ✔️

This is purely from my own research, I’m not telling you to take any of these items. But, I personally am implementing majority of this into my daily lifestyle. I would recommended looking into the things I’ve mentioned.
