I am 10 days away from my placebo pill (also on BCP Aviane28) and yesterday just got a small reddish/ brown discharge which I thought I just cut myself down when I was wiping. and now the day after just got a dark brownish creamy discharge (no red). I'm already 10 months into my BCP. and it was understandable for me when I got spotting 4 months in since my body was getting used to it. but I'm a little confused now and wanna see what others are experiencing (I am counting this as spotting?)

I keep seeing in the discussion how it's ovulation but I thought on BCP, ovulation is prevented? if this has happened to you, does it last until your period starts? did it happened again on your next month? and if you've gone to the doctor, did they pose it as something serious, etc?
